Crew Coordinator

The role

In this role you will support production in the resourcing, scheduling, payment and administration of staff and freelance crew within Coronation Street. This involves day-to-day contact dealings with a diverse range of internal and external people including staff and freelance crew, contractors, managers and members of the production team.



Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)


At least 6 months of experience of rostering and rescheduling a team of people on a Film or TV production.
Demonstrable understanding of Working Time Regulations, Drivers Hours rules and (ideally) familiarity with the In-House Agreement.
Proven exceptional organisational and administrative skills with the ability to drive a best practice and legally compliant approach to hiring and contracting in a fast turnaround and fluid production environment.
Experience of a meticulous approach to detail and tasks as directed
Experience of working in a team or individually as required
Excellent communication skills as well as a demonstrable degree of tact, diplomacy and discretion.
Excellent IT skills including experience of a scheduling system.
Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety principles and issues
Demonstrable technical production knowledge and understanding of crew roles and their responsibilities.

Demonstrable and successful interpersonal skills including the ability to take a variety of approaches when dealing with issues and problems to ensure a successful outcome.
Awareness of TV drama production
Ability to manage the scheduling system ensuring that information entered into the system is complete and accurate.
Ability to explore and where appropriate suggest new ways of working using IT systems to streamline processes.
Demonstrable interest in learning new systems to ensure production is efficient and data can be reported on swiftly.
Experience of providing a proactive and creative approach to solving problems and improving processes.
