Creative Videographer/Editor

London

We are currently looking for a Videographer / Editor to join our in-house, creative team to create engaging and innovative video content.

The role sits within the UK production team, which works alongside the creative, and marketing teams at MADE.com headquarters in Soho, London. Together this forms the UK brand team that plays a pivotal role in leading every aspect of the company's brand communications. We also pride ourselves on being creatively led from within as a full service in-house creative team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for generating interesting concepts for our product videos; becoming brand custodian for the quality of product video footage produced in Asia and also take on ad hoc projects for our growing need for effective visual social assets.

This role will be based the majority time at our own bespoke photographic studios in Tottenham Hale. But you'll also be required to plug into the central team in between shoots for key meetings and updates.

Main responsibilities will include:
* Hands on role at MADE.com Studio photography studios in Tottenham Hale capturing footage which showcases the quality of our products.
* Enjoys on the fly directing of team members and models to bring charm and personality to our product videos
* Follow video brand guidelines, capturing required footage on time and and on budget.
* When required, liaise and brief videographers in Asia so that all product footage is consistent in lighting, feel and quality.
* Organise your footage methodically and accurately under product names.
* Researching and getting comparative quotes for video
* Careful maintenance of all MADE.com Studio video equipment ensuring use is always logged and equipment properly stored.
* Competent to proficient editing skills as you'll be required to edit in between shoots
* Ad-hoc projects which will involve you in the social content plan for launching new categories and new design themes

What you'll need:
* Minimum 1 year in a similar role, within a commercials, fashion film, music video, and/or online editorial content environment.
* Experienced using a Sony PXW-Z150 camera (this is what we use) and similar.
* Experience with lighting set-ups for video.
* Advanced use of Adobe Premiere/Creative Suite
* After effects experience important and highly desirable
* Well read and always on the scout for great references that you enjoy sharing with the wider team.
* Self- starter and able to organise own work streams independently.
* Passionate about great creative work striving to ensure the highest standards
* Energetic and enthusiastic with a passion for photography and interiors
* A positive "can do" attitude is essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Using your experience & initiative to suggest ways to improve procedures and processes
