Creative Producer

London

We are looking for a Creative Producer to join the ITV Creative division.

What this role will entail...

ITV Creative is an in-house ad-agency that is responsible for creating and producing on and off air communications for the ITV brand portfolio. It also produces work for external clients.

Responsible for over £275 million worth of airtime this department is a mix of Creatives (broadcast, print and social), Designers, Channel Continuity, Production & Operations and Campaign Management. Integrated thinking is applied to create outstanding work for all media -on-air, off-air, digital, product/event design and experiential.

ITV Creative works in close collaboration with Marketing, Media Planning, Audiences & Research, Broadcast Operations, Scheduling, RedBee , ITV Studios and ITV Commercial. BritBox is ITV's new SVOD platform. (In collaboration with the BBC).

Already launched successfully in the US it is an original streaming service providing an unrivalled collection of British boxsets and original series, on demand, all in one place and would provide:

• The biggest collection of British content available on any streaming service
• Brand new commissions for British production companies specifically created for BritBox.

Some Key Responsibilities:
Maintain communication with marketing, Editorial, PR and social contacts to ensure timely delivery of briefs & campaigns are consistent in quality.
Run weekly status meetings and acting as a central point of contact for all matters relating to project trafficking issues and deliverables, anticipating problems and providing solutions and information to the wider team.
Maintain a holistic view of all projects with the studio to place right people on projects, whilst ensuring resource (people & facilities) are scheduled & properly briefed and having the ability to troubleshoot as things change.
Maintain an excellent network of contacts across all creative disciplines- AV, Editing & specially shot, Photography & Art Direction, Copywriting & tone of voice and Graphic design- for fast turnaround/ cost effective resourcing
Building excellent relationships with ITVC & BBCWC and external production companies to source pre-existing, campaign materials, all footage, photography.
To manage any rights and clearance issues for all materials used.
Ensure relevant programme material is sourced and clips are fully cleared, negotiating new clearances inc. music- creatively solving blockages where required.
Manage budget and reconciliation for campaigns- Ensure day to day financial processes are carried out correctly.
Ability to manage relationships with all skill sets and departments is vital and strong organisational skills are essential.
Having a practical and systematic approach to project work, communicating clearly and adapting with sensitivity to different working styles, bringing discipline and rigour to all working practices.
Aligning with best practice within ITV Creative and the wider traffic and production team to ensure collaborative and efficient ways of working. Able to review and make improvements in the way of working as required.
Providing administrative support with our reporting data and other responsibilities as required.
Learn and use existing systems and workflows to ensure efficient and cost effective ways of working.
Day today department process support e.g. raising purchase orders, setting up freelancer log ins, contracting freelancers on core campaigns, keeping the related admin up to date.
Ensuring compliance with all editorial and regulatory code, GDPR and production guidelines.

The ideal candidate:
Computer literate in using both MAC and PC and having a knowledge of post production.
A planner and methodical producer able to manage multiple projects. A problem solver- overcoming barriers with creative solutions and innovation.
Interpersonal skills specifically building strong personal relationships - creating strong bonds with UK JV partner creative agencies and creative and programme production departments.
Flexible with strong communication skills.
Working contacts (a great external creative network- plugged into latest talent and techniques).
Knowledge of all stages of the campaign production process from brief to delivery across all media to enable accurate planning.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team is vital, and strong organisational skills are essential.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, reacting quickly, accurately capturing detail and working calmly under pressure.
Ability to confidently negotiate and bring any difficult creative or production situations to a successful and mutually agreed resolution.
Flexible and passionate about your work, able to think on your feet, with a willingness to learn and develop.
An experienced producer used to delivering creative outputs across multiple touchpoints (promo, design, copywriting, social & digital, photography and art direction) as well as collaborating with all skillsets in the industry.
Experience of multi-tasking and supporting a team to produce and deliver the highest quality creative work with a great black book of creative contacts.
