JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Creative Editor to help evolve our studio offering in the UK, and deliver digital exceptional video content for our rapidly growing list of clients

The ideal candidate will have a strong motion skillset and excellent editing skills, with strong experience collaborating with both Motion and Video teams to produce industry-leading creative.

The candidate needs to be technically proficient in editing and motion-related software and have an excellent eye for pacing and tone, witch a key understanding of social-first content.

Comfortable working independently with oversight and direction from Leads, they are equally apt at collaborating with a team and are a key source of knowledge for Juniors, passing on technical and creative expertise.

They are a creative thinker able to visualise concepts and are confident expressing ideas to the internal team and occasionally externally to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create high quality motion enhanced edits

· Be aware of and respond to current design and culture, whilst staying up to date with industry and technological developments

· Alongside Leads, help to nurture and develop Junior members of the team

· Be a senior voice in ideation and creative direction for projects

MUST HAVES

· Excellent editing, with a focus on high-energy social-first content

· Minimum of 2-3 years of video editing experience with excellent Premiere Pro and After Effects skills

· Teamworking skills

· The ability to showcase ideas and visual direction effectively

· Proficiency across the Adobe Suite and other editing/motion tools

· An understanding of brand and how different styles suit different voices

WHAT MIGHT YOU BE WORKING ON?

· Taking the rushes from a shoot for EA Sport and leading the edit, adding motion touches throughout to enhance its impact

· Editing a quick-turnaround, reactive piece for The Hundred after an incredible innings, by embellishing a pacy edit with creative animated text

· Collaborating with the Content Strategy team and studio Leads on the ideation of a key piece of content for World Rugby
