Costume Coordinator

Main Responsibilities
You'll report to Series Costume Designer

A Casualty Costume Coordinator has a key role in maintaining and organising the costume department and wardrobe to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and continuity are upheld.

Your duties will include:
• SA daily lineup
• Turn around SA laundry
• Stock room and truck maintenance
• Replenish stock levels
• Purchasing, hiring and logging receipts and purchase orders
• Alterations and assisting with fittings
• Breaking down and dyeing costumes
• Electronic continuity file management on cloud
• Setting up iPads for filming blocks
• Assisting HoD with departmental logistics and crewing

Are you the right candidate?
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following -
• Professional experience within a Costume/Workroom Department in Television, Drama or Theatre
• An excellent understanding of the principles, practices and roles for costume within Drama, Television and Film or Theatre productions
• A proven ability to do alterations with adequate sewing skills
• IT experience including Breakdown software, cloud storage and Notability
• An ability of working independently, using your own judgement
• An ability to effectively manage and prioritise tasks to a deadline
• Confident and knowledgeable with IT equipment, such as computers and iPads
• A full and clean driving licence
• Knowledge and passion for Drama
• Must have a positive attitude to problem solving
