Lime Pictures is the home of the UK's most talked about television. From cutting edge formats to multi award winning long running drama, we are at the forefront of today's popular culture. We now have a brilliant opportunity for a Costume Assistant to work on our ground breaking drama, Hollyoaks.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and organised individual for this role. You will need to have a keen eye for detail when checking that all Background Artistes are dressed appropriately for the scene, and providing alternative options where necessary. Continuity is a crucial part of the Costume Assistant's role on a day to day basis, this includes taking pictures of all outfits and taking detailed notes throughout each filming day including any changes that have been made.

The costume department is a fun and vibrant place to be but there is also an element of organised chaos when ensuring that all costumes are cleaned, ready to wear and returned to their required location at the end of each filming day, so you need to be efficient and used to working within a time pressurised environment.

The successful Costume Assistant will need to have an understanding of how costume works within a TV production environment as well as having the following essential skills/qualifications:
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and practices relevant to the role
* Knowledge of fabric qualities and how to take care of specific garments
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good manual handling skills
* Excellent interpersonal and confident communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure to structured deadlines
* Highly organised with the ability to effectively prioritise workload
