Coordinator

Head Gear is one of the most prolific private financiers of media in the UK, deploying over US$35m a year into around 25 feature films around the world, as well as television productions, video games, animations and theatre shows; Head Gear also works closely with its sister company, Bankside Films, a leading international sales agent.

Head Gear is looking to fill a full-time coordinator position from April 2016.

The scope of the role includes:
Providing general administrative support to the team, including diary management
Coordinating international festival and market travel, meetings and accommodation
Managing the company's social media presence
Liaising with producers to ensure correct credit entitlement
Researching areas of new business, industry developments and potential projects
Personal assistant tasks for the company director

Essential skills required are:
Demonstrable experience of successfully managing multiple, time-sensitive tasks
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good all-round IT skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work from own initiative
Demonstrable problem-solving abilities

Essential personal qualities required are:
A strong, authentic interest in the independent film business
A conscientious, team-oriented attitude
Friendly and relaxed personality
Flexibility and ability to take ownership of projects and tasks
Appreciation of customer service and client relationships

From time to time, working hours may need to shift to match different time zones, as company executives travel internationally, and will require diary management support.

The level of remuneration will be based on the selected individual's existing experience.
