UTA is seeking a Coordinator to support across the Comedy department in our London office.The Coordinator will have previous experience booking live comedy acts and be fully immersed in what's happening in the global comedy scene.You will be responsible for providing support to UTA Comedy clients aimed at building and maintaining profitable touring relationships. In addition, you will be expected to route tours for small and medium projects and negotiate deals under supervision for existing clients on smaller shows. What You'll Do: Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Keeping booking system updated at all timesProgress booked shows through from offers to contracting, on sale and marketing to settlementsAttend shows of existing clientsScout potential clients by covering London club and developing artist sceneBuild and develop relationships with key industry stakeholders, including managers, promoters & venuesNetwork internally within UTA to share information and integrate department into wider UTA structureHelp co-ordinate Edinburgh booking needs and opportunitiesChecking and comparing costings, collating for managementWhat You'll Need: 3-5 years progressive experience in the comedy industryGeneral understanding of the entertainment industry and the nature of a talent agencyHighly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Familiarity with other platforms and systems (Zoom, Slack, Box, Concur, and Workday)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly professional with excellent judgment, and a high level of discretionAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritising a busy workloadPositive, self-motivated attitudeEffective time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing prioritiesExceptionally organised, with a strong attention to detailWhat You'll GetA competitive salaryA benefits package to support your wellbeing, including private medical insurance and gym membershipThe exciting opportunity to work at one of the leading global entertainment companiesThe opportunity to work in an inclusive and diverse company culture
