Located at our headquarters in Milton Keynes the Coordinator, Travel Logistics is responsible for all travel requirements across the business. ted is looking for a dynamic and assertive Coordinator, Travel Logistics to help support the Procurement department with all travel logistics requirements. Working with some of the biggest brands in the travel & tourism industry, the role will involve being the main point of contact for all travel requirements in the business.Due to the seasonal nature of the UK and international travel & tourism industry and the high volume of business that this brings, there will also be a requirement to support the Group Procurement Manager with general purchasing requirements for various projects throughout the year.Hybrid model availableMinimum 3 full days at our HQ offices (ted, Unit D Mill Court, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK12 5EU)Optional 2 full days working from homeKEY TASKSRole & Responsibilities:Co-ordinating worldwide travel requirements on behalf of tedOrganising travel arrangements from beginning to end and booking flight tickets, accommodation, car hire, taxi and train ticketsSupplying employees with written itineraries, maps, guides and other relevant travel information when requiredProactive approach to travel logistics sourcing and pricing to meet location and budgeting needsMaintaining existing good working relationships with our travel suppliers.Main point of contact for all travel requirements at ted.Willingness to participate and deliver training appropriate to own developmentEffectively performing administrative duties and follow processes accuratelyAssist the Procurement department with occasional general purchasing to support during busy periodsAssisting with the day-to-day operation of the departmentSome ad hoc weekend cover may be requiredSupport Responsibilities:Prepare overseas trip forms and documentation for Maintenance EngineersCentral business support for all travel bookings (flights/trains/taxi/car hire/accommodation etc)Support the Group Procurement Manager in daily tasksGeneral purchasing requirements when neededQualifications & Skills:Previous experience in an admin role is essentialPrevious experience in travel logistics desiredExcellent customer Service skillsGood verbal and written communication skills.Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programsAttention to detailHighly motivatedExcellent time management skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to work well without supervisionMethodical, organized and accurate with excellent attention to detailIT skills such as MS Word, Excel, MSFT Teams, Outlook, PPT,Character & Attitude:A dynamic and innovative professional with a forward-thinking attitude and approach.Demonstrate commitment to the business with a strong knowledge of its mission statement and client base.A committed individual.The ability to work under own in initiative.Demonstrate passion for results.Hold a valid UK driving license.Interaction with internal members of staff and external clients and suppliers in a courteous and efficient manner is essential at all times.Enthusiasm and positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business.Experience:Previous experience in fast paced environments essentialPrevious experience in travel booking desired but not essential as on the job training will be provided.Experience in multi-tasking projects.
