The Content & Video Producer will create videos and content for Magic's social and online channels, to build awareness amongst potential new radio listeners and grow the brand's overall audience. Through the creation of videos and social posts, the role will promote the radio stations' output and events, drive engagement and build connection between on-air and social. The role will also assist in the maintenance of Magic's online presence, moderate social channels and respond to audience enquiries.The role is based in Bauer Media's national radio HQ at One Golden Square, a vibrant centre of excellence which is home to great radio brands, passionate individuals and powerful teams working together to create radio and digital content which excites and delights audiences across the UK.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Film and edit multiple short-form videos each week for Magic's social and online channelsDevise video formats which can interest or entertain the viewer and promote the Magic brandCreate video-based articles, list-based videos, visualised audio contentCreate still or GIF based image content and written posts for social mediaParticipate in brainstorms and offer content ideasProduce video promos for events or marketing campaignsEdit a range of original video content and create video content from stock footage and graphicsUse SEO and keywords effectively to ensure videos grab attention and viewsApply learnings to develop content with more viral potentialSubtitle videosWork with the video team across Bauer's national radio brands on bigger projectsWork with the Magic producers and presenters, training them to create simple video content they can produce themselves or with a little assistance from yourselfWrite treatments and shooting scripts where necessaryMonitor and moderate audience interaction on social networksIdentify trends in video and social content and create a response which works for MagicWork with the commercial colleagues, when applicable, including feedback and revisionsPublish relevant content created by the Bauer editorial team to Magic's social channels and websiteBe available to work outside office hours to monitor social feedsOccasionally work outside office hours to support events such as outside broadcastsDesired Attributes:Video recording and editing skillsA strong understanding of social networks and online communitiesAn excellent working knowledge of all the major social media platformsStrong writing skills and English to at least GCSE levelAbility to edit quickly and efficiently using Premiere ProProficiency in After Effects a bonusAbility to edit using PhotoshopAudio editing skills would be an advantage, willingness to learn essentialStrong knowledge of the Magic brand and its output across Magic Radio, Magic Chilled, Mellow Magic and Magic Soul.A confident communicator with the ability to turn ideas into practical solutionsA positive, collaborative outlookAble to work solo and in a teamWilling to occasionally work on-location, at events and outside office hours
