Content Producer

London

The Royal Opera House continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming and social media to worldwide cinema screenings. The work of our Audiences and Media team focuses on growing the love, advocacy and demand for the art presented by the Royal Opera House, so that we can also grow our audience-generated revenues.

We are looking to appoint a Content Producer (Engagement) to work collaboratively across Creative Studios to deliver world-class editorial content (text, image and AV) to defined target audiences, to develop our audiences and their engagement with our work. You will work on producing high quality short- and long-form content, website copy and imagery, programmes and publications for the organization, working to the priorities set by the Lead for Engagement Content.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player, able to demonstrate:

-Proficiency as an editorial all-rounder, able to lead on ideas for social, online, AV and print content, with a sound editorial judgment based on a good understanding of target audiences€

-The ability to create and edit authoritative content on opera, music, ballet and dance, drawing on a strong awareness of the performing arts in the UK, and the wider world of arts and popular culture

-Excellent written skills and an engaging writing style that can be tailored to meet the needs of and appeal to different audiences and platforms

-Experience of creating and managing digital content and print layouts and working with images, from picture research to image manipulation

-Proven planning and project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and work to strict deadlines

-Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
