We are owned by Coty, but maintain an independent working environment and culture.Beamly Studios is a content creation unit at the heart of Beamly, spearheading Best Practice and creative excellence, driving meaningful engagement for Beauty brands across key platforms, connecting the brands 24/7 with their consumers.Beamly Studios originate, create and deliver compelling stories that resonate with audiences, responding to new trends and exciting potential customers with dynamic content.Beamly's creative scope comprises of 4 inter-related areas:Marketing Science: Using 1st to 3rd party data to discover and better predict effective content messaging, creative approaches, targeting criteria and target platforms for digital marketing campaigns Content Foundry: Creative that enable brands to use data to make more effectiveness and more engaging campaign content, sourcing from Beamly and Beamly-accredited digital-first, mobile-first creative partners Media Optimization: Creative that enables real-time optimization of social and programmatic digital marketing campaigns according to brand objectivesWebsite and eCommerce: Creative for next gen website hosting, building, dynamic user journey optimization, engagement and conversion into e-commerce and in store activationAbout The RoleThe Content Producer works within the Creative Content team, who ideate, create and deliver compelling stories that resonate with audiences. They are responsible for working with each other, with the Head of Editorial and with the design and video departments, collaborating in meetings, on briefs and on shoots to produce highly-polished, on-trend, beautifully written branded content. They must be a keen editor and copywriter as well as a writer, and someone willing to pitch in on new projects with different teams with enthusiasm.They must utilise social listening, keyword search, trend identification and their own keenly honed nose for hot new beauty trends to ensure that the relevant brands are producing the best content they possibly can. This role is based around written content, but the average day will be comprised of the ideation and creation of all forms of content, so the right candidate must be willing to adapt to that.What You'll Be Doing- Creating engaging and original short-form copy to brand voice in a range of formats for contexts including organic social and paid social/display/video activities.- Writing and researching - at speed - accurate, high-quality, engaging written content around beauty (e.g. news articles, features, tutorials/how-to's) following briefs and brand guidelines, as well as editing and publishing the work of colleagues.- Working collaboratively (both pre-production and on-shoot) with the Design team to ensure all visual assets are brand-appropriate and to Beamly standard.- Ideating and producing detailed and accurate briefs for brand-affiliated video and photo shoots, then following through from concept through to execution.- Sourcing new talent and freelancers (models, photographers, makeup artists) and managing relationships with these contacts on an ongoing basis.- Liaising with clients, both face-to-face and digitally, to ensure briefs and projects are completed to deadline.- Originating and producing interactive pieces (e.g. quizzes, votes, games) using Beamly's in-house production tools.- Maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of the worldwide beauty conversation, including in-depth knowledge of existing/emerging trends, and how brands, retailers, influencers and beauty devotees are sharing and discussing their passions online.- Utilising social listening tools to ensure that all Beamly content is relevant to the current beauty zeitgeist and answers the needs of the consumer, as well as the brand.Who You Are- At least three years' professional writing and copywriting experience, preferably on a well-known beauty online platform or marketing company.- Ability to understand brand and industry jargon, market awareness and strategic business goals to campaign creation.- Obsessive knowledge of the ins and outs of beauty & celebrity culture and advertising campaigns in the beauty arena and passion for following these in real time.- Total fluency with current and emerging beauty trends - must know your Barry M from your Anastasia Beverley Hills.- Supernatural ability to create accurate, entertaining, ready-to-publish copy at speed.- Good knowledge of media law and copyright law.- Multimedia skills an advantage (e.g. photography & Photoshop, video shooting & editing).- Passionate about new ways of telling stories and learning / experimenting with new tools.- An obsession with tracking which parts of your output have succeeded (or failed) with your audience - and spreading learnings to the rest of the team.- Ability to work in a self-directed way in an unstructured, fast-changing, highly collaborative environment.Benefits- Private medical insurance- Life assurance- 25 days' holiday per annum- Additional holiday on your birthday- Childcare vouchersOnly applicants who have the right to work in the UK will be considered.Candidate sponsorship is unfortunately unavailable.Unsolicited CVs from Agencies will not be considered.
