This is a new role, with a need identified to help support the existing Content team in the creation and maintenance of all copy across the Ticketmaster UK site.The Content Executive will have three main areas of focus:1) Administration - serving as the main point of contact for requests. Dealing with time-sensitive requests fielded from the wider UK Marketing team, the Content Executive will effectively and efficiently respond to requests to update copy, images and information across the Ticketmaster site. Busy announcements and short-notice changes mean the ideal candidate will be great at working to tight deadlines, and will have a sharp eye for detail. 2) SEO content-creation. Working alongside the SEO Editor, the Content Executive will assist in the creation of SEO-first editorial content to support business priorities. This might include writing an original synopsis for a new West End show, building a listicle on the best places to take the kids over Christmas, or updating a guide to the biggest metal festivals in the country. 3) General editing/proofing. Working alongside the Digital Sub-Editor, the Content Executive will also help to ensure that all content meets TOV and brand guidelines. The Content Executive will assist in proofing weekly newsletters and emails, as well as checking content across all editorial and artist pages.In addition, the Content Executive would be assisting in the general creation and editing of content and campaigns across the Ticketmaster UK site. Working in the Content team, part of the Marketing team, they would be an intrinsic part of making sure fans and clients alike are best served by Ticketmaster UK. Applicants will be dynamic content editors with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills. They will collaborate well with members of the wider business to create, facilitate and promote word-perfect copy. They will be great at multi-tasking, at juggling short-notice requests, and at keeping a tight focus under pressure. At the same time, the ideal candidate will have a passion for editorial, a keen interest in SEO, and a real love of live entertainment.Ticketmaster UK is part of Live Nation Entertainment, the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. Live Nation Entertainment incorporates various high-profile brands including Ticketmaster, Academy Music Group (AMG) and Live Nation Music.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGResponding to requests from the wider Marketing team to update and create artist pagesMaintaining in-house workflows to ensure all requests are kept up to date Writing artist biographies, blog posts and email copy in keeping with brand tone of voiceEnsuring content is optimised for SEO and best practice is implemented across all digital elementsAnalysing SEO data to ensure sure we're picking up on emerging search trendsSub-editing copy across all channels to ensure it meets house style and the brand tone of voiceUsing web content management systems to publish contentWorking with the Senior Content Manager and Content and Marketing teams to conceive, create and deliver new creative campaign and editorial ideas to promote the Ticketmaster brandWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)Proven experience in a content marketing, social media or editorial roleExperience using a CMS (content management system), particularly WordPress and Prismic. Knowledge of Salesforce also highly desirableAble to write and edit quickly and accurately while adapting to brand tone of voiceAbility to use Microsoft Office software packages to a competent standardPrevious experience in working with SEO from a content or editorial perspective is highly desirablePrevious experience of using analytics programmes (such as Google Analytics) is highly desirableYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)Organised, self-motivated and capable of working on own initiativeEnthusiastic, confident and able to communicate at all levelsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamMeticulous attention to detailStrong creative skillsGood time management skills with an ability to plan and prioritise competing work demandsExcellent verbal communications skillsDemonstrable creativity and innovation in a business context relevant to the role
