Content Creator

Stratford-upon-Avon

Do you like to create engaging video content and have a creative flair for cinematography? Are you experienced in operating cameras, lighting and sound equipment? Do you have working knowledge of Motion Graphics and skills in After Effects? Have you worked on live streamed productions? Can you troubleshoot problems and adapt to a variety of filming environments? Is working as part of a brilliant and friendly team important to you?

We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to join the RSC's Digital Development department on a fixed term contract basis, to create engaging, high quality digital content for the RSC's channels. You will be joining a department who create, deliver, archive, and administrate all of the RSC's digital video content and digital development projects.

Working across the whole of the RSC, you will be responsible for creating digital and video content for a variety of departments, this might include creating trailers for new shows, producing content to showcase the great educational and accessibility work we create or capturing on-stage performances for streaming. You will be working with a skilled in-house team of creatives in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
You will report to the Digital Development Creative Lead where some of your responsibilities will include (please see the main job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):

• Delivering video content for commissioners within the RSC, to include filming, editing, grading and archiving
• Working on creative briefs and delivering content in the correct format for distribution
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and departments on video related projects
• Managing the procurement of media rights
• Ensuring quality control and high standards are met
• Project management and archiving data
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
• Practical experience and knowledge of editing software: Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Knowledge of Motion Graphics and skills in After Effects
• Skilled in the use and operation of camera, lighting and sound equipment
• Proficient across both Mac and PC platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality control
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and adapt to a variety of filming environments
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively alone

This role is offered as a fixed term contract, until April 2024, the hours of work are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work, the position is based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The RSC has a flexible working policy, which allows for a blend of office and remote home working, subject to your line managers approval.
