Final Cut is a commercial editorial company with offices in London, New York and LA. It is home to many of the most talented editors in the business. Our London offices are home to sister companies machine - a leading sound design company and the Lofts a dry hire editorial facility, hosting editorial for broadcast productions. We work with leading advertising agencies, Streamers, Networks, production companies and post production houses.We are looking for a Communications Manager for the Final Cut group of companies.You'll work closely with the Executive Producers and Editors to coordinate PR, develop marketing strategies and promote the talent and work produced by the Final Cut group.Role and Responsibilities:Seeking out press opportunities to promote work and talent.Working with editors and other creative staff to help write engaging features, including articles, interviews and opinion pieces.Writing press releases and securing coverage for company news.Managing social media accounts, creating engaging content and planning posts to promote talent and new work.Organising film screenings and exploring ideas for other promotional events.Crafting decks, presentations and other sales and marketing materials.Tracking projects and liaising closely with clients to follow PR guidelines.Planning awards submissions and managing entries.Administering company websites and curating content.Capabilities:Creative writer with excellent written and verbal communication skills.A passion for film, music, creativity, technology and the arts.A comprehensive aptitude and understanding of social media.Ability to operate independently while also being a proactive team player.Organised and self-motivated with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks at any given time.Keen attention to detail.Comfortable working in a fast moving, creative environment.The following skills will benefit you but are not essential:Experience with Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro.Proficient with Microsoft Office and / or Google Workspace, including Word & ExcelA knowledge of the advertising industry and existing relationships with directors, producers and other filmmakers, as well as trade websites and their Editors.Please send CV & cover letter
