This innovative organisation has been ahead of the market for decades and has seen continuous, rapid growth throughout that time. It is now looking to continue this success by building upon its Motorsports content.The RoleIn this role you will be leading the strategy and commissioning of content for Motorsports across the organisational network. You will function as the in-house industry expert in Motorsports, providing invaluable knowledge through passion and expertise. You will be growing and identifying key audience's opportunities in reach and engagement by ensuring both strategic and dynamic content is commissioned and produced. You will have the opportunity to lead content production that is globally seen, enjoyed and respected for its forward-thinking, distinctive and stylised quality.Directly leading the Motorsports Audience Team, you will be accountable for all audience growth. You will also be working directly with Programmes, Comms, Marketing and Brands to ensure a cross-functional campaign across the company.Additional Responsibilities: • Devise the year-long, cross platform content strategy that will deliver this potential• On a rolling basis, create commissioning brief that articulates content needs• Define the content requirements, scope and formats• Be responsible for defining and guarding the organisation's tone of voice in Motorsports• Work directly with Development and Production teams• Manage the Motorsports Editor, responsible for editorial text and news content output• Work with in-house and third-party producers to commission contentThe CandidateThis role is for a highly experienced individual within a mature media market, with exceptional editorial skills within Motorsports. You will have extensive experience in strategic planning, audience development, digital and social content commissioning and has a great reputation and contacts within Motorsports. You will not only have worked and developed directly within Motorsports, but will be passionate and driven by the Motorsports world.
