Commercial Operations Director

The product

KidSafe Social Video (KSV) is the product and team responsible for measuring, analysing and indexing the social video content being watched by Kids online. We then use these insights to help our clients get maximum return from their campaigns, whilst ensuring they are interacting with kids in a safe and ethical way.

The role

KSV is one of our fastest growing business units. The challenge of understanding what young people are watching online and where they are watching it gets more complicated every day. The KSV team are required to continuously improve this understanding whilst ensuring our clients have all the knowledge they need to compliantly run campaigns. In this role you will support the global operational and process requirements that will enable the product to be a continued success as a product and team.

You will lead on critical thinking, process development and management of how we continue to grow the knowledge of Social Video content that is consumed by young people globally and support the teams and people responsible for translating this into both product and messaging for our colleagues globally. KSV is relied upon extensively both internally and externally so it will be fast paced and varied - this combined with the ambiguity means we'll need a very organised and curious addition to the team.

Internally, you'll need to be able to work cross functionally across teams with multiple stakeholders from product, commercial, operations & account management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow our understanding of Social Video scale across audience segments, contextual insights and view counts
Bridge gap between product, strategy & commercial to lead on projects and processes designed to improve efficiency and performance over the short and long term.
Manage the supply and understanding of Social Video in KSV to ensure that our access & supply is growing with the demand (regionally, demos, context categories)
Support thinking and management of how we adjust pricing controls locally & globally to ensure we're meeting product margin performance
Support thinking and lead process on how we improve our ability to support all clients in all markets - focusing on our knowledge of content by geography, demographic and context.
Responsible for quality of the catalog during curation and ongoing health - including the management of moderation with support of BU lead.
Find macro trends for optimization, helping the AdOps team understand marketplace across campaigns
Works w/ Customer Success & Commercial on renewal and growth of BU
Collateral support to Marketing and Market Strategy team given trendspotting and insights from performing inventory
Regular collaboration with KSV Product Manager
Support strategic thinking around long term expansion of product
Process improvement

Requirements

Domain expertise
In online (social a plus) video. Has worked in companies or industries directly linking to online video
Understanding of COPPA/CPPA/GDPR-K and compliance in kids and teens markets.
Recent experience of working in a geographically diverse product, either internally or externally
Understanding of, or direct experience working in, an adtech or advertising led business / team
Track record of working on strategic projects that have high levels of ambiguity
Experience developing internal working relationships and processes across functions, cultures and time zones
Strong attention to detail
