Red Star 3D are seeking a CG COORDINATOR to oversee the VFX, light, render and comp departments on our production of a BBC1 Christmas Special for Magic Light Pictures.

You MUST be resident in the UK for this position. We cannot consider applicants who do not live in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have several years experience coordinating teams of around 10 CG light and comp artists, and will have a good technical understanding of what is involved. They will ensure smooth communication between the artists and teams and liaise with the animation coordinator on a daily basis to ensure the pipeline runs smoothly, referring any technical or timing issues to the relevant department supervisors and production.



Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience within a CG-related production environment
Knowledge of Shotgrid.
Experience of working in a Maya-based CG pipeline.
The ability to work proactively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.


This is a contract position expected to run February-September 2024 [TBC].

Whilst this position is fully remote, due to the way it is funded we are ONLY able to consider artists based in the UK. Salary negotiable.
