Extra People a successful background casting agency based in London, have launched in Manchester and are looking for someone local to the North West to represent us in the area on a freelance basis to help increase the number of people we have registered up there as well as develop new client relationships.

Currently working on a major TV Drama in the Northwest we are looking for someone to help build our database within the area and develop create a presence with productions filming in the area. Applicants would ideally have worked in production or AD teams before, casting extras or have worked at a casting or background agency within the North West.

You should be energetic, professional and self motivated. You should be able to think on your feet, be pro-active and independent in ways to source new people to the company. You will be closely supported but you should not be shy of getting out and meet the public on your own to hit targets.

A local knowledge of the North West is crucial. Applicants will be able to dictate their own hours and be flexible, as long as results and targets are hit. Payment will be a day rate depending on experience + performance based bonus. This is an opportunity to join one of the countries fastest growing background companies in a new role to the company that has the prospect to grow exponentially. Would ideally suit an Assistant Director in between jobs or can manage it alongside an existing job or an experienced booker. We are of course open to other applicants.
