Spun Gold are looking for an experienced Casting Assistant Producer for our long running garden makeover series.

This role will be based full time in our Birmingham office so candidates must ideally have a base in the West Midlands.

You will have strong casting experience, sound editorial casting judgement, be extremely well organised and a great communicator.

The role includes working independently to tight deadlines, assessing, and logging all applications, contacting and engaging applicants by phone, conducting and recording video interviews and writing up detailed contributor briefs. Experience on building make-over or gardening related programmes is an advantage.

Essential:

A confident communicator with a proven track record of successful large-scale casting through talking to people on the phone, making initial in-depth assessments of people's lives and families alongside a broad knowledge of gardening or building work.

A multi -tasker who can juggle multiple contacts and conversations casting for up to 40 episodes.

Experience of managing and maintaining a large database

Attention to detail with strong writing and editorial skills

Availability for 2nd December for 10 weeks.

This is not an entry level position. Home makeover / horticultural experience beneficial but not essential. We are looking for someone who ideally loves both gardens and chatting to contributors!
