Camera Assistant / Shooting Researcher

We would like to hear from CAMERA ASSISTANT/SHOOTING RESEARCHER with availability for ad hoc days from end of Feb to mid-March (exact dates TBC).

The primary role will be to assist the PD on small, 2-person crew shoots in various locations throughout Scotland.

The ideal person will be highly organised, have experience handling production paperwork, confident driver as well as some shooting experience.

Key requirements:
Basic camera knowledge/awareness helping to set up kit, shooting GVs, cross shooting interviews.
Familiarity with Canon preferable but not essential. Familiarity with go pros preferable but not essential.
Driving license and happy to drive on location
Data wrangling on location
Experience helping with sound (booming, attaching radio mics)
Good people person, working with contributors
Managing location paperwork e.g. release forms
Location running / admin petty cash handling, lunches, helping keep the shoot on schedule, calling ahead to contributors and rearranging plans if necessary while on the road.
