The Building Services Engineer is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and optimization of studio infrastructure and technical systems. This role ensures that all engineering aspects of the facility, including electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, function efficiently and safely. The Building Services Engineer works closely with the facilities and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to the smooth operation of studio production environments.

Job Responsibilities - What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Assist with installation and repair of technical infrastructure to support production and facility operations
Conduct inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and proactively address them
Respond to urgent system failures and repair requests to minimize operational downtime
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards
Work closely with contractors, vendors, and external service providers on major repairs and system upgrades
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and work orders
Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency improvements where applicable
Support special projects related to facility enhancements and new system installations
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications - What You'll Bring

Required

0-3 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or technical support for facilities or production environments · 18th Edition Wiring Regulation Qualified.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow safety protocols
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
Preferred

Previous experience in studio, warehouse, or industrial facility maintenance
Certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or mechanical maintenance
