Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

We are currently seeking an Amazon Studios Assistant to join our UK Originals department. You will use your passion for content, excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving skills to:
- Provide administrative support to the UK Originals team across a range of programming and activities.
- Assist in managing the project submission process, supporting the coordinators to track developments through the life cycle.
- Work with creative, production and other Studio stakeholders to support each stage of a project, from initial pitch, through development, production and launch.

You'll also gain a whole range of useful experience and skills whilst working on the Level 3 Broadcast Production Assistant apprenticeship standard

You will build your skills over an 18 month period - starting in May/ June which will help you develop personally and professionally across the time on the apprenticeship. You will attend sessions to cover four main areas;
· Classroom based training to cover knowledge,
· On-the-job training ,
· Online learning,
· Mentoring from our human resources experts.

Alongside extensive development of your technical skills, you will also grow your abilities in crucial complementary areas like organization, prioritization, data analysis and problem solving techniques, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.

What we are looking for

Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a keen interest and passion for productions of various kind of genres.

· You can follow a list of guidelines and instructions (verbal or written) to deliver results and meet deadlines
· You have a can-do attitude as well as being flexible, adaptable and proactive
· You are a hard-working, focused individual who thrives as part of a team but can also work independently when required. Furthermore, you must have a strong desire to learn, develop and grow as an individual in both a personal and professional sense.
· You seek and respond well to feedback
· You have excellent customer facing skills and think proactively about the customer experience in all interactions
· You have attention to detail and have good oral and written communication skills.

Candidates should be 18 years or over and have the right to live and work in England. You have a good fundamental understanding of issues related to developing and producing content gained via self learning or formal experience/ training. You have ability to think creatively and apply analytical and problem solving skills, driving issues to resolution and strong willingness to learn.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Academic qualifications

· GCSE grade C/4 and above( or equivalent) in Maths and English

Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has some knowledge about content creation for productions and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a degree or higher qualification in broadcasting related subject.

Preferred Qualifications / skills

These will be a plus for your career at Amazon but are not necessary to enter the program.

· Interest in all forms of television as well as pop-culture and emerging trends
· Planning, time management, and organisational skills
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Creative problem-solver
· High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
· Web-savvy: familiar with online video environment
