Broadcast Media Assistant

Leeds

We are looking for a Broadcast Media Assistant to add to our dedicated team based in The Calls area of Leeds City Centre.

The Broadcast Media Assistant will be responsible for travelling to events on the PSA World Tour and assist with the live broadcasting of matches, as well as the delivery of highlights and other on demand content.

In between tournaments you will be based in our Leeds office and will work with the Content & Digital Media Team to edit and produce engaging features, interviews, and other promotional material to help showcase our sport.

Key responsibilities:
* Attending tournaments around the world to assist the broadcast team, produce content and set up broadcasting equipment for live events.
* Operating live TV replay equipment within SQUASHTV broadcasts.
* Operating live TV graphics equipment within SQUASHTV broadcasts.
* Producing & editing video content for all PSA owned and associated channels, including match highlights, feature packages, promotional videos and more.
* Archiving and coordinating broadcast footage via various platforms both online and offline.

About You
Essential
* Degree level education in sports media, video production or broadcast related subject.
* Previous experience in a media, sports media, or broadcast role.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of elite sport.
* Experienced user of digital media software. Particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
* Willingness to undertake foreign travel on a regular basis.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, confident and energetic.

Desirable
* Knowledge of squash.
* Experience working in a live broadcast environment.
* Experience of working within a sports organisation.
* Experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite, such as After Effects & Audition.

This role is an office-based position, in our office in Leeds, but includes a significant amount of international travel. Any applicant must strongly consider whether regularly being on the road for long periods of time is suitable for them.
