International equipment rental facility company is expanding and looking to recruit a Broadcast Engineer in its London facility.

A proactive and organised team player that will confidently and efficiently work in our facilities and on location, liaise with clients and work to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, obtained in the broadcast industry, together with at least 4 years experience working with broadcast equipment, in particular cameras, audio & lighting packages, including excellent knowledge of HD formats.

• Studio, OB / location experience a must
• A good understanding of test measurement and calibration equipment and solid trouble shooting techniques.
• Able to maintain equipment according to manufacturers specification for quality assurances
• Knowledge of broadcast systems design and wiring
• Understanding of on set and post production workflow
• Ability to read electronic schematic diagrams and troubleshoot to the component level is a plus
• Comfortable with providing training sessions on new equipment formats for clients and crew when required
• 3D Workflow knowledge an asset
• Good relations with major manufacturers and suppliers
• Excellent administration and computer literacy skills, including excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and learning our "in house" bookings system

Full clean driving licence
