Awards Coordinator

C21Media is looking for an awards coordinator to coordinate and help produce our awards in the run up to and on site at Rose d'Or and The International Drama Awards during Content London 2022.

C21Media is the market-leading B2B publisher and digital content provider for the international television and content industry; combining a portfolio of publishing brands with an events business and powerful online screenings marketplace.

Content London, our flagship event, runs over four days from 28 Nov - 1 Dec 2022 with key players from the global business from the likes of Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Warner Brothers, BBC and Sky. A programme of around 60 curated sessions covers the latest industry trends and showcases new content in the drama and formats & factual space. As a B2B TV industry event, Content London attracts over 3000 international delegates and speakers including TV executives, heads of TV channels and networks, writers, producers and talent. Encompassed in Content London is Rose d'Or, The International Drama Awards and C21 Pitch.

Up to £26,000 pro rata, full time, based in Shoreditch with some home working, and 4 days on site at Kings Cross.

This fixed term contract is available from Monday September 5 to Friday December 2, a total of 13 weeks.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced awards or project coordinator, who would like to expand their event knowledge working as part of a dynamic team in an exciting broadcast industry environment.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate first rate self-organisation skills, the ability to work to deadlines under pressure, be able to self-manage, work using their own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.

Key tasks include (but are not limited to):
• Manage awards entry inbox answering ongoing queries around the competition and awards
• Create and add content and event information to the entry platform
• Preparing judging packs and managing judging inquires
• Recruitment of judges, send invitations, responses and add judges to website
• Management of judging platform and entry judging
• Allocation of the shortlist to judging timeslots
• Ensure that all competition and awards sponsors deliverables are met
• Managing communications to the successful organisations, documenting responses. Inform unsuccessful entries
• Manage and ensure all shortlist images/videos, synopses are received by the deadline
• Create and manage social media updates around the awards
• Create and manage promotional mailouts regarding the awards
• Support in the signage and design for the awards event
• Support team in the creation of all content to be used at the live event, to include slides, branding and sponsor content
• Live awards, take a supporting role on allocated tasks during set up, brief the wider team on their responsibilities and jobs. Ensure the event is set up and ready to receive guests. Provide excellent customer experience on the night, checking in guests, answering queries, supporting delivery of the live awards, and managing winners
• Undertake post event tasks, feedback, debrief and updating results to KPI spreadsheets

You:

• Have a keen eye for detail
• Are resourceful and creative in troubleshooting and dealing with unforeseen issues
* experience of Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop is advantageous
