Leading creative agency producing trailers & tv commercials for Theatrical and Home Entertainment film releases.

They need...

A Senior Online Editor with extensive knowledge of AVID Symphony, HD standards & formats and digital workflows.

The successful candidate must be able to creatively offline as well, this will be for simple localisations and more complex trailer adaptations and cutdowns.

In your role you will be responsible for conforming trailers and tv commercials from a variety of tape & digital sources, colour grading, some compositing/graphic work, you will need to ensure that edits are technically correct and compliant for delivery to various worldwide clients/broadcasters.

You will need to be well versed with outputting to HDCAM SR and exporting to various file formats and codecs using appropriate compression techniques. You will need to have a working knowledge of Quick-time Pro & Sorensen Squeeze.

You must have an with an eye for detail and be technically strong with an ability to deliver edits to specific delivery specs. You will need to be able to work alongside a team of offline editors, graphic designers and producers to deliver the highest quality of work.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Online Editor
AVID Symphony
Some ability to offline
Good knowledge of HDCAM SR & Digibeta VTR
Excellent technical TV knowledge
Exporting to different file formats & codecs
Experience of delivering to Clearast, DG etc.
