Audio Visual Technician

London

We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Audio-Visual Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will work with a variety of teams across the organisation to establish a consistent, higher-quality look and feel to our video content. In addition, you will enable our research teams to plan and execute the capture of video and audio content, both live and recorded more easily.

You will work closely with internal teams to create video content to further department goals. You will be required to travel, when required, with Research to enable high-quality video and audio content capture from events happening in a variety of locations.

To be successful in the role you will own the webinar and podcast hardware and software tools, maintain them, and maximise the value returned from those tools. Whilst establishing standards for video and audio kit and configuration as well as room/space lighting and acoustics across EA's offices. Join us on this journey as we continue pushing boundaries with creativity.

Requirements
Enthusiasm for learning and applying AV tools and techniques.
You will have an eye for aesthetics and an ability to interpret the EA brand.
You will have excellent organisational skills.
Ability to remain calm and display leadership skills "on set" and in a crisis.
Experience with AV hardware management - specific experience with BlackMagic products or similar.
Experience using Video editing software.
Project and production management.
Streaming event management and/or live event AV management.
Ability to travel internationally.
Flexibility to start early/later in line with live broadcasts.
Desirable skills

Familiarity with Microsoft teams and Polycom a plus.
Previous experience in corporate video planning, scripting and production.
Previous experience as an entrepreneur or small business owner.
