As an Audio Producer, Heart Breakfast at Global, you will be an integral part of the production team that powers the UK's biggest commercial radio show, Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden.

The Audio Producer for Heart Breakfast will be at the core of devising and implementing audio for the show, as well as drive the main on-air desk for the UK's Number 1 commercial radio show working with the best presenters in the business, Jamie Theakston, Amanda Holden and Ashley Roberts!

Key Responsibilities

Handle all things audio for Heart's Breakfast show.
Drive the main on-air studio desk on a daily basis and craft the sound of every show to make it sound as slick and professional as possible
Write and record show promos, constantly evolving the sound of these, so they sound fresh and engaging
Develop and push forward the sound of new and existing show features and big story arcs for Heart's Breakfast show.
Work with other Global teams in the wider business to secure the accurate resources and equipment for features and projects.
Collaborate with the central sound design team to evolve the sound of Heart Breakfast.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you'll have:

Built positive relationships with all Heart Breakfast presenters and the wider Heart Breakfast team.
Contributed to and developed the sound of the show and delivered strong creative audio ideas for the show, it's feature and its competitions.
Built compelling audio content that genuinely adds a layer to the output of Heart Breakfast
Developed the sound of the show, including imaging, on-air features and our industry leading branded content campaigns.
What You'll Need

A proven passion for radio and sound design, with a clear vision and genuine desire to develop and improve the sound of the UK's biggest commercial radio show.
Ability to use Adobe Audition to a high standard and Protools skills would also be desirable
Experience of working in a studio environment and the ability to drive an on-air studio desk are both essential.
Experience of working with high profile talent and the ability to build a swift connection is also of utmost importance. A constant communication throughout the live show is needed to ensure a high standard of output
An ability to sense studio dynamics, bring a good, patient energy and be able to handle the pressure that comes with working on the number one commercial radio show in the country.
A strong understanding and the ability to use location recording devices for out of studio-based features
Have a good working knowledge and understanding of the Zetta playout system.
A proven track record of using production to lift editorial and branded content ideas off the page.
Strong and clear communication style with the ability to demonstrate your own inspiring ideas
Confidence when working towards your own personal objectives as well as helping others to achieve theirs.
You'll love being part of a large team but be self-reliant and able to balance multiple projects at once to a continually high standard.
Understand how to develop the sound of Heart Breakfast's content on our digital platforms, specifically Global Player.
You'll need to be great with early starts! The show is 6.30 - 10am daily.
