Assistant, Technical Operations

We're looking for a Technical Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission. As the Technical Operations Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Technical Operations and Localisation team. Working closely with Technical Operations managers, post-production partners, and broadcasters, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of FIFTH SEASON's content. Your responsibilities will include maintaining updated delivery schedules, coordinating meetings, managing departmental trackers and internal systems, organizing broadcast files, processing invoices, and providing backup support for various projects. Your attention to detail, effective communication skills, and passion for the industry will be instrumental in your success.

Role Responsibilities:
Schedule and Coordination
Maintain updated delivery schedules by liaising with external vendors and broadcasters.
Optimize department members' time by efficiently managing departmental calendars.
Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring accurate booking of conference rooms and calls.

Administrative Support
Manage departmental trackers and internal systems with the latest information.
Organize broadcast files and folder structures across department SharePoint.
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and ensure precise expense reconciliation.

Requirements & Skills:
Education: A relevant degree in Production, Film/TV, or Administration, or equivalent qualifications demonstrating proficiency in related areas.
Experience: Previous experience working in a production/materials/trafficking role, preferably within a distribution or post-production company, showcasing a strong understanding of industry dynamics.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Flexibility with Time Zones: Demonstrated ability to adapt to and effectively manage the international nature of our business, spanning multiple time zones.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting. Additional language skills are a plus.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
Industry Understanding: A solid understanding of television production and post-production processes, with experience in using sales systems being a plus.
Passion for Entertainment: A genuine love for film and television, along with a deep appreciation for production and talent within the industry.
