We are seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager to play a vital role in the production process of our busy repertoire programme.Assisting the Production Managers in our world-class theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon, you will ensure that final designs are delivered within budgetary, financial and logistical limits. You will appropriately communicate your suggestions, concerns and updates throughout the production timeline to a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from directors and designers, creative teams, workshop and operational staff, and to the wider company.Some of our shows span multiple venues, so you will need to be savvy when it comes to contractual agreements and logistics. Able to work flexibly and pro-actively, you will rectify issues when they arise and constantly monitor the health and safety aspects of productions, as well as ensuring appropriate staffing levels for get-ins, fit-ups and rehearsals.Our ideal candidate will have theatre production management experience, preferably within a repertoire system. You will have a keen eye for managing finances and be able to confidently negotiate with and be persuasive towards others, whilst maintaining an extremely personable nature. The ability to draw CAD/Microstation would be necessary, as would excellent organisational and time-management skills. The contract is fixed-term for 15 months, giving the opportunity to work on a range of our productions during our exciting Summer and Winter seasons, amongst our highly talented teams. There is potential to manage two productions solo toward the end of the contract.The closing date for applications is 2nd January 2018. Interviews will be held in mid-January.
