You'll play a key role on the CBeebies Parenting digital team, working across web and social media content that demonstrates how to create opportunities to build chat and learning into everyday play, shares expert advice on child development and tips on all aspects of parent life. WHY JOIN THE TEAMWe've begun to establish CBeebies Parenting as part of the CBeebies family and we're now looking to further our position in the UK parenting landscape. You'll be joining a vibrant team as we begin our first forays into YouTube, continue to develop our podcast offer and explore how to use existing CBeebies brands to speak to parents directly for the first time.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:• To support the development, management and creation of content on a variety of platforms, including the CBeebies Parenting website, social media platforms, YouTube and BBC Sounds• To commission and manage the delivery of articles, graphics and film content from third party suppliers• To support with the delivery of CBeebies Parenting film and podcast commissions• To work effectively with other departments, suppliers & partners (internal & external) ensuring the BBC maintains excellent relationships throughout• To ensure all content is of a first-class standard: thoroughly researched and accurate, in-keeping with audience needs and expectations and compliant with BBC editorial standards YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:• Demonstrable experience of producing and managing content for social media and/or web platforms• Demonstrable ability to write engagingly and edit images and video content using the Adobe Suite• Experience commissioning content for web, social or audio platforms• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to give diplomatic, clear feedback• Proven communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of contributors from families to experts and talent DESIRABLE:• Experience commissioning/producing YouTube content• Strong knowledge of the UK parenting content landscape• Experience working on podcast/audio content If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we'd love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
