The Assistant Producer will assist the Producer and overall production team in all aspects of producing content for Red Nose Day and/or Sport Relief and other partner brands or investors, working closely with other teams within the organisation.

Key responsibilities
Work on highly sensitive and targeted casting of contributors for content.

Research factual information, alongside colleagues within the organisation.

Set up shoots with the producer & PM - including locations, contributors etc - in the UK and internationally (with strong focus on higher risk countries throughout Africa).

Working with our Safeguarding and Compliance departments, including experience of working with vulnerable people in challenging locations.

Essential Skills and Competencies
At least 2 years' experience at AP level across TV and online content production, specifically in specialist factual and/or documentary programming.

Demonstrable shooting skills - ideally on cameras such as C300/FS7 or similar.

Ability to multi task and work across more than one project simultaneously, including shoots outside of the UK in high risk environments.

Understanding and experience of safeguarding - e.g. working with children and vulnerable adults.

Strong attention to detail - to produce work which is accurate and brand relevant.

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

Ability to work proactively and effectively as part of a busy production team.

Basic edit skills (ideally in Premiere) - desirable, but not essential.
