MarcoPolo Learning is a rapidly growing online kids' educational media company and it is looking to expand its amazing team! We design products that enrich millions of kids' learning experiences worldwide, with our flagship product being the award-winning MarcoPolo World School app. We're a close-knit, collaborative group that obsesses about visual design, animation, and creating original educational content for kids.

As we grow, we are looking for an Assistant Producer to join the team, to assist the Executive Producer and assist on both content creation for the app and also the live action project. The role will encompass technical, creative and organisational skills, and we are looking for someone with a passion for kids' media and education to bring an extra burst of energy and support to the team.


Responsibilities

Working closely with the Executive Producer to create content for the MarcoPolo World School App and other projects.
You will have a creative mindset and an ability to multitask
Involvement in future content brainstorms
Assisting the Executive Producer with the creation of a live action strand

Requirements

Experience in making kids' television or digital content for a young audience is a must
Experience editing video on desktop to create original, engaging and shareable video material
You'll have a balanced and objective technical, creative and editorial judgement
An understanding of what short form content works on different platforms, especially YouTube
Shooting experience
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in a busy content production environment including the ability to develop fresh, new creative ideas
Experience of taking ideas from concept to finished product whilst driving forward creativity
Knowledge of the target younger audience, their needs and expectations in a digital product world
Experience of writing clear and concise material which may be used for briefs, scripts
