We are looking for an experienced assistant producer to join our small team producing a feature length documentary about Type 2 Diabetes, bariatric surgery, and the underlying factors that have contributed to the obesity epidemic as a whole.

The successful creative will have a passion for documentary and strong skills in constructing and structuring a narrative, and ideally have previous experience structuring feature length documentaries of a similar nature (though we are open to suggestions peripheral to this).

We are still very much at the pre production phase and are looking someone with skills they can contribute to this process. I.e. constructing narrative, finding stories, finding/contacting contributors etc.

We have a small but not by any means insubstantial budget, but, as such, wish to find someone willing to come with us on this journey and build something fantastic. This project is our 1st, fully funded, major documentary, and is a fantastic opportunity to create something meaningful in a time where funded projects are thin on the ground.
