We are seeking an experienced assistant producer to join our busy corporate film and video production team. The right candidate needs to be available immediately up until the end of September 2012 with a possible extension to 12 October 2012 and, subject to performance and the needs of our business, perhaps beyond.Much of the current busy and growing production slate involves films for clients in the financial, professional services and corporate sectors, particularly international private equity firms and their investee companies. All of the films are aimed at professional audiences, frequently institutional investors, and much of the work has a significant financial or business angle. That said, and whilst we do have our share of talking heads to shoot, we aim to produce high quality films - frequently about complex subjects or themes, often on challenging budgets and regularly commissioned with very short lead times - but which tell powerful and compelling stories that engage and inspire their target audiences. You will be working as part of a small, busy production team within the agency - reporting to and working with an exec producer and a producer - with the aim of supporting them in delivering a slate of films for corporate clients. Many of the projects are already up and running and we are also fortunate enough to see a steady stream of new work constantly topping up our pipeline of projects. This role is about supporting the existing producers in areas including:- edit producing documentary-style case study films about businesses, aimed at investors, that are already in production (likely to be the majority of the work);- coordinating the day-to-day delivery of some of the graphics and animated content - either as part of other projects or, in some cases, as standalone films;- occasional interview-based shoots - mainly London / UK-based but potentially overseas;- some research (both factual, music and image-based, e.g. library film) and script writing;- working with our production assistant to resource both shoots (often international) and post production activities, as well as managing production schedules;- basic budgeting and cost control;- certain aspects of the communication and contact with our clients - under the supervision of one of the producers or a member of our client services team.If you have a demonstrable track-record in corporate film production, an appetite and aptitude for business and finance and are prepared to land in the midst of a busy, established team, pick up a bunch tasks across a variety of different projects and run with them, we are keen to hear from you right now. Those without recent UK corporate film making experience need not apply.
