Assistant Producer (Sport)

At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

What You'll Do:
* European Tour Productions produce and distribute golf coverage of the DP World Tour, The Challenge Tour, The Ryder Cup and The Open. In this capacity, ETP has produced the live coverage for hundreds of events around the world and not just in Europe. We travel to events in the middle east, Asia and Africa and have produced the last twelve Ryder Cups and The Open since 2016. In 2021, and despite COVID restrictions we delivered over 850 hours of live world feed golf coverage. Our award winning original and branded content is expanding, and we also produce a broad range of content for social media channels and The European Tour website.
* We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Producer to produce broadcast and digital content for The European Challenge Tour. This is a pivotal role that will require a multiskilled Assistant Producer to build strong relationships, create engaging content and thrive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
* Contribute to the production and delivery of the European Challenge Tour's broadcast magazine series
* Produce and direct single-camera feature shoots, overseeing subsequent post-production
* Direct ENG camera coverage of European Challenge Tour tournaments (2-4 cameras)
* Create engaging content for the European Challenge Tour across social and digital platforms
* Responsible for preparation and co-ordination of shoot Risk Assessments as appropriate
* Edit Producing the programme, working remotely with an editor and scripting for commentators
* Managing Shoot Rushes Post Production
* You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job
* Generating original, exciting and editorially strong ideas

You Will Have The Following Strengths:
* Previous experience as an Assistant Producer in television production
* Experience of directing single camera shoots, sourcing and interviewing contributors
* Experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits
* Experience of writing high-quality scripts for short features and promos
* Experience of producing edits for promos or short features
* Self-editing proficiency including knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
* A strong knowledge of golf
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to media manage rushes and projects upon completion
* Computer literacy and good administrative skills
* Excellent customer focus skills (representing the face of the company/programme to the public/potential contributors)
* Demonstrates good editorial judgment
* Shows initiative - able to prioritize and manage workload without close supervision
* Good team player
* Positive, professional and keen approach to work
* Flexibility & adaptability

Please Note:
* You will be required to travel throughout the UK and internationally to shoots
* You will be required to work weekends/unsocial hours.
* Fixed Term Contract until 30/4/2025
