Assistant Producer - Video

Brighton

We are currently looking for an creative Assistant Producer to contribute in the making of high quality media content (video and audio) for use in the company's wide range of learning and communications products.

The Assistant Producer works closely with the Media Producer and Exec Producers on all aspects of video production. You will be a self-shooter capable of assisting on both the creative and technical dimensions of video production. The role will be focused on both drama and documentary material, working with a range of large brands and corporate clients.

The main duties will include:

Editing documentaries & drama based videos
Filming case studies and interview videos
Providing support to crew & actors on-set
Running second camera on some location-based dramas
Organising equipment and supplies for video & photoshoots
Drawing-up and distributing call sheets
Organising release forms for documentary contributors, actors and models
Sourcing locations for shoots
Voice-over recording and editing (Using our in-house studio)
Keeping LEO voice sample library up-to-date
Applying subtitles & translations to videos

The skills you will need for this role are:

Competency with post-production software such as Adobe Premiere CC, etc.
Competency grading footage, adding basic animation and sound fx
Competency operating professional video kit (camera, lights, sound)
Excellent understanding of all stages stages of video production
Ability to manage a small documentary set as a self-shooter, running both camera and audio
Strong organisational skills
A strong creative vision to push the quality of the department's documentary and drama output

Ideally you will also have:

Knowledge of After Effects
Experience with C300 MkII and Sony FS-700 cameras
Experience with 360 video
Experience with green screen
Experience recording voice overs
Advantageous: Animation skills'
Some international travel may be required from time to time.
