2D Animator wanted to join Team Fettle!
Team playing 2D animator wanted to work in-house for a friendly, award-winning animation studio in semi-rural West Yorkshire.
Looking for an enthusiastic character animator with strong skills in digital cutout animation using Adobe Animate working on our new educational series in Marsden, Huddersfield.
Fixed contract until early December 2018, but we hope that you can also help us to develop new projects to extend your time into 2019 and beyond ...
Our picturesque village is easily accessible by road and rail from Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.
We work in a pleasant modern studio with good facilities and local amenities close by.

Skills we are looking for:

Essential
• Strong character animation skills
• Production experience of using Adobe Animate software
• Highly personable, reliable with a proven ability to work well in a small team
• At least 2 year's professional experience, working in an animation studio or freelance
• Good drawing ability
• Good organisation, planning, time management skills and ability to work within a tight schedule
• Ability to listen well to instruction, take direction and work to clients' specifications
• Sensitivity to educational issues and attention to detail
• A "can-do" and positive attitude
• Already resident with the right to work in the UK (sorry we don't have the resources to bring in overseas applicants)

Desirable
• Strong design and concept skills
• A personal style of animation and illustration that fits well with the Fettle look
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Toon Boon Software
• Research skills
• Editing and sound skills
• Lots of ideas and energy to help move our ambitious company forward
Salary is negotiable according to experience but sorry, this isn't a high budget project ...
We can offer lots of support and development opportunities for the right applicant.
