We are looking for animation TDs.

In this role, you will work directly with the Animation Department Supervisor and/or the show's CG Supervisor, and you will spend your days:

- help maintain a wide array of existing workflows and scripts
- providing front-line support to animators, troubleshooting shots, and helping artists with general problem-solving inside maya and with the pipeline
- testing and validating tools and techniques in production
- acting as an on-call resource for animation, primarily for complex, urgent problems
- providing front-line support, resolving complex user errors, and guiding Pipeline Developers with debugging technical issues
- updating documentation for the pipeline and tools to reflect any changes that are made
- create tools and scripts for the animation department

Must haves:

- possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Animation or a related technical field
- have at least 2 years of production experience in visual effects for film, commercials, television or video games
- be proficient in Linux, Mel and Python Scripting
- have experience with developing tools for Maya
- have experience in character rigging

Experience in any of the following is also a plus:

- Katana or Houdini
- C, C++
