We need an imaginative Animation Producer!

We're developing new IP - Zaffi Zoo - with a STEM storytelling focus, for kids aged 3-5. It involves robot animals, coding and computer science, and A LOT of music inspired by afrobeat/highlife genres. Zaffi Zoo is set in a magical land and the show is 50% music.

We need an Animation Producer to lead the development of the series and deliver the content. There isn't a massive production budget - we want good quality mini stories to launch on YouTube. We want a forward-thinking Producer, who ensures our company delivers pioneering imaginative storytelling and is excited about a transmedia approach to IP.

You will:
* Grow the IP from the ground up - pitch, budget, schedule, manage, add magic
* Manage content production, exercising top, top creative and business judgment and working with a largely in house team
* Create processes to ensure the delivery of quality content
* Build a network of amazing creatives, with a focus on diversity
* Find people to conceptualise, produce and deliver a high volume of work
* Act as a spokesperson for the company and the mission, building strong partnerships with distributors, toymakers, etc.
* Lead the launch of the brand in 2020!

* Your expertise and skills span platforms - e.g. animation, motion graphics, TV, digital media, graphic design, illustration and publishing
* You understand the nuts, bolts and issues of production
* You've got innovative ideas for navigating a changing media landscape
* You understand industry regulations, protocols and markets
* You bring understanding and genuine interest in children's media and edutainment

Remuneration is dependent on experience. This is a short term project to deliver a pilot episode and short form supporting content, with scope to be involved in the longer term rollout of series content. Starting ASAP in our cosy office in Old Street.
