Animation Producer

London

We are looking for an Animation Producer to join our team. You would be managing a small in house team of animators and also creating a freelance network of animators around the world. As a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, you should have a desire to make a real impact on how millions of locals and visitors experience their cities. The ability to brainstorm, ideate, create and execute content plans with your team and work quickly to mobilise around key events, trends and news is crucial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce in house and external animation projects.
Budgeting + Scheduling.
Production pipeline management.
Working with the wide content team of photo and video and be able to pitch animation ideas from your team to theirs.
Oversee the output of the artists you manage, paying careful attention to issues related to both quality and quantity of content, and making sure they deliver on the briefs you set.
Research for artists out of house and build a trusted list of vendors or individuals.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in animation, editorial/commercial.
Superb organisational and people skills are an absolute must
Have a strong understanding of animation techniques and software.
Strong eye for compelling visuals and ideas for content across a selection of locations and interests
Evidence of working with a variety of different formats would be beneficial.
