We are a Bristol-based talent agency specialising in factual entertainment; representing some of the UK's most recognised presenters and best loved on-screen personalities including Steve Backshall, Gordon Buchanan, Michaela Strachan and Liz Bonnin.A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within the company for an Assistant Agent. We are looking for a confident communicator who is super organised and has the ability to multi-task as well as being proactive. We want someone to come in and hit the ground running, who would be keen to expand the department and who is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities for our clients across TV, books and radio. This role is the ideal opportunity for someone with a background working within an agency and wants the challenge of working in a busy office and has the skill set to juggle numerous projects at once.Key objectives of role: * Logistical and administrative arrangements relating to TV, radio, books and podcasts for all JSM talent. * Being the first port of call and answering new enquiries either by email or over the phone as well as being proactive to find new enquiries. * Diary management, arrange meetings, taking notes. * On occasion attending events with talent. * Developing strong relationships with talent as well as external production companies, press and broadcasters. * Keep on top of social media trends, news and culture. * Working with the accounts team to keep on track of invoices and chasing when needed.The successful candidate will: * Have exceptional organisational and administrative skills with great time management and attention to detail. * Have the initiative and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. * Have an ambition to continually learn and bring fresh ideas to the table. * Have exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly develop strong working relationships. * Be an excellent problem solver and ability to keep calm in a busy / fast-pace working environment. * Have strong interpersonal skills and a 'can do' attitude. * Be reasonably technical; understand basic CRM systems as well as social media platforms. * Have a desire to work and grow within a strong integrated team. * University degree educated (or the relevant experience to compensate) with experience working within an agency background preferred.Beneficial: * Have a genuine and proven interest in working in the wildlife industry.
