Job Description:

The 3D Animator will be responsible for the quality of character animation and ensure standard is maintained using the approved rigged models, produce believable, engaging and relatable characters performance for the production and complete quotas to agreed deadlines.

They will need to ensure characters are brought to life through a variety of expressions, poses, body language and lip synching. They will use the approved animations as set out by the series Director to provide a consistent style using Maya software throughout the series.

Required Skills / Experience:

Produce animation scenes and maintain consistency of production quality and style to agreed deadlines.
Maintain continuity of animation within style guide parameters & schedule.
Work with the Animation Director and Supervisor to ensure that scenes are in line with the Director's vision.
Character animation and Maya software experience is essential.
Past experience in animation role for a CGI animated TV Series preferred.
Key Requirements

Good understanding of technical aspects of Maya software and animation production.
Strong knowledge of animation fundamentals and principles, walk cycles, lip sync, acting and character timing.
Attention to detail, problem solving ability and taking direction in order to work in a collaborative team environment.
Position open to UK and Republic of Ireland residents only.
Role available for in house/hybrid working in Belfast or Dublin studio.
