Lighthouse Games is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Animator to join our team of passionate and creative game developers. As a Senior Animator, you will play a key role in bringing game assets to life. You will work closely with the Art Director and members of the wider art team to create animations that are visually stunning, realistic and engaging. Your expertise in character animation and attention to detail will contribute to the overall quality and immersion of our games

Key Duties Include

Create high-quality character animations using industry-leading software and tools
Collaborate with the Art Director and other team members to develop animation concepts that align with the artistic vision of the game
Implement animations into the game engine and iterate based on feedback from the team and playtesting
Proactively seek ways to improve animation quality and efficiency
Mentor and provide guidance to junior animators
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in animation techniques and technology
Requirements
Ideally a background in technical art or technical animation
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality character animations
Expert knowledge of animation software such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender
Proficiency in rigging and skinning characters
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for video games and a deep understanding of animation principles and techniques
