Job Description

Chocolate Films is a video production company based in Battersea. We are a social enterprise, producing video content for museums, galleries, charities and corporate clients and running a wide range of filmmaking experiences for children, young people and adults. This role will develop and facilitate workshop and community projects that use stop motion animation.



This will include:

Running drop-in workshops, school workshops and holiday workshops.
Planning and designing workshop projects
Working as an animator on large scale community projects
Creating elements and models for animation projects


Chocolate Films is a small company, so as well as working on animation projects, the candidate will be required to assist with other work at Chocolate Films when required (office, documentary production etc)



Essential skills include:

Stop motion animation experience
Model making for stop motion animation
Experience in using Dragon Frame
Teaching/workshop experience


Desired skills include:

Familiarity with Final Cut Pro X, After Effects, Google Docs, Basecamp, Current RMS
Payment: A 3 month fixed salary of £4725

Duration: 3 month period (with a view to considering the right applicant for longer term position).

Regular working week: 5 days a week from 26 June to 8 September

Hours: 9am - 6pm

This role is contingent on a clean DBS check
