Videographer and Editor

Working with teams across the organisation, retailers and health and wellbeing experts, you will be a key member of a growing content team responsible for creating compelling video content for Retail Trust's website, digital channels and events, answering the mental health and wellbeing needs of our end user. Full of great ideas, you'll bring a creative spark to our digital presence with a preferred experience in editorial health and wellbeing and/or retail content. You must be a great story-teller, be on top of emerging wellbeing trends, have an innate understanding of what makes compelling content with truly excellent video and audio skills. You will have a great understanding of audience and be able to tap into end user insight to deliver content that really reflects their needs. You'll have comprehensive knowledge on all things social media and multiplatform content creation, plus an appreciation of the retail and charity sector. Most importantly, you will have the drive, passion and enthusiasm to work in a new, dynamic team to take Retail Trust's content to the next level.

Requirements
Key role requirements

· Generate fresh, innovative and exciting content ideas.
· Create empathetic, purposeful, engaging video content across all channels.
· Be able to take content from idea to final edit, including the sourcing and interviewing of case studies, location finding and managing shoot days.
· Support the head of content and digital content editor with planning and project delivery.
· Work alongside internal and external stakeholders delivering on specific content briefs.
· Work closely with the social media communications manager and design team to deliver compelling content.
· Be a brand guardian, helping to communicate the work of the Trust leveraging on our history, purpose and story.
· Continuously evolve and innovate our digital content to capitalise on wellbeing and industry trends, and ensure that the Trust remains relevant to the industry.
· Work with external suppliers and clients in line with internal processes, always maintaining the professional reputation of the Trust.

A bit about you

· Fantastic video, audio and editing skills with an eye for detail.
· Well versed in using Adobe video and audio software such as Premier Pro, After Effects and Audition or similar.
· Knowledge and understanding of current video production techniques and equipment.
· Knowledge of camera, lighting and audio equipment with the ability to operate and troubleshoot video equipment effectively.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Brimming with creative and innovative content ideas.
· A strong understanding of audience.
· Ability to source and interview case studies.
· A self-starter with the ability to manage content projects, from idea to end product.
· 3+ years of proven experience as a videographer and video editor - experience in the mental health and wellbeing space and/or retail would be a bonus, but not essential.
· Brilliant story-telling ability.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating a collaborative and flexible approach.
· Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
· Willing to travel to film in locations across the UK.
