Facilities and training company based in London, are looking for a Technical Manager/ Assistant to work in our busy kit room in an ongoing staff role. They are looking for bright and enthusiastic professionals to prep camera, lighting, sound and edit kits to clients across the UK, in addition to providing technical support.
* Start flexible for right person, permanent staff job. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.
* Based NW5, London
* Salary £TBC (Depending on experience)

ROLE:
- Preparing cameras and supporting kit for hire
- Taking bookings and co-ordinating hires
- Managing the kit room including kit room assistants
- Providing technical support for clients
- Developing new business including some marketing
- Help setting up and prepping equipment for training courses
- Candidates must be prepared to for some weekend work
- This is a permanent position

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* MUST have some industry experience within a dry hire facility
* MUST be confident with both SD and HD Sony broadcast cameras as well as other manufacturers broadcast equipment.
* MUST have good understanding of video formats, the basics of lighting and sound and simple production values
* MUST have excellent communication skills
* MUST be motivated and enthusiastic
* MUST have ability to work professionally with clients and staff alike
* MUST have good sense of humor and a positive attitude towards work
* MUST have full UK driving license - and be comfortable driving vans (sometimes over long distances)
