Technical Assistant (Sound) - Emmerdale, Freelance Talent Pool

We are often on the lookout for talented Technical Assistants to support our Sound Department on a short-term freelance basis and we are holding an Assessment Centre to build up our Talent Pool.

Emmerdale is recorded both in a studio, working with fisher booms in a multi-camera environment and also out on location, recording sound on boom poles. You would need to hold a driving licence as driving duties are part of this role.

If you have gained experience working with a wide range of technology including, for example: cables; microphones, Fisher Booms, boom poles and radio microphones and have gained some experience on drama production, then you may be able to help support our Sound Department as a freelance Technical Assistant in acquiring the best possible sound whilst filming on location and in our studios. You will be required to be flexible with regards to working hours - drama production days are long and this is a manual handling role.
