Team Assistant, National Geographic Channel

Hammersmith, London

Responsibilities: Execute administrative responsibilities for the National Geographic Channel's (NGC) London Global Production and Development Team. To include filing, presentation and report preparation and other administrative duties
Co-ordinate and maintain complex diary management for EVP of Programming & Development and Senior Director of Production & Development. To also assist, where necessary, with others diaries
Liaise with various teams within the NGC, NGP and Fox businesses
Serve as interface with NGC & Fox administrative assistants based in all offices around the globe, specifically in the USA, DC & NY offices
To keep track of department movements and act as a central point of contact
To help support the distribution of EVP of Programming and Development and Senior Director of Development and Production cut notes
Maintain confidential records, documents, correspondence and files
To be the point of contact for independent producers, suppliers and clients, domestically, in the US and oversees
Update and maintain key department databases along with the department contact & talent tracker
Prepare written and visual presentations for EVP of Programming and Development and Senior Director of Development and Production
Organise team travel logistics
Organise and coordinate conference calls and meetings for the London Production & Development team
Create and submit expenses for EVP & Senior Director and other team members where required

Person Profile: Be organised and able to flex priorities to business needs
Have an advanced level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite ( esp Word, Excel and Power Point)
Be calm and able to deliver a consistent level of work, even during times of high pressure
Have excellent attention to detail
Have previous experience working within media production or development
